Displayed in the Lieutenant Governor’s Suite at Queen’s Park, Identity: Art Inspired by the Great Lakes features diverse works that capture the greatness of the Great Lakes through a variety of media.
The art included in this new exhibition masterfully depicts the unique relationships that artists have with each of the Great Lakes. Their work brings to mind what we have always known: Ontarians have a deep connection to these iconic bodies of water. The exhibition reminds us of the economic, socio-cultural, and environmental role the Lakes have played in the life of Ontario, both past and present.
