I consider myself extremely fortunate to have grown up in Ontario and Canada!
There were times growing up when that was not the case. Toronto and other cities in the province are home to some of the most diverse populations in the world. But there were many times when people were not at all accepting of those who looked different. Thankfully, for me these acts were isolated. Accepting people emerged and showed why we are the most inclusive place in the world.
As a result, I had the opportunity to learn in one of the best education systems, be coached by wonderful mentors, apply what I learned at work, and enjoy a high quality of life. I have had the privilege to spend my career serving the public. I am convinced that these opportunities would not have been available if I did not come to live in Ontario.

J’estime avoir eu bien de la chance d’avoir grandi en Ontario et au Canada!
Mais il n’en a pas toujours été ainsi. Toronto et d’autres villes de la province abritent certaines des populations les plus diverses du monde. Souvent, il arrivait que les gens n’acceptaient pas les personnes d’apparence différente. Heureusement, dans mon cas, cela ne s’est pas produit souvent. L’acceptation des gens a fait surface et nous a fait comprendre pourquoi nous sommes le lieu le plus inclusif de la planète.
J’ai donc eu l’occasion d’apprendre dans un des meilleurs systèmes d’enseignement au monde, d’être formé par de merveilleux mentors, de mettre mes connaissances en pratique au travail et de profiter d’une grande qualité de vie. J’ai eu le privilège de consacrer ma carrière au service du public. Je suis certain que je n’aurais pu en faire autant si je n’avais pas vécu en Ontario.
